The IEEPC Certified Corrosion Control & Protective Coatings Professional course bridges chemical engineering principles with hands-on industrial painting execution for energy, oil & gas, maritime, and infrastructure assets. Participants learn the science of corrosion and coating failure, then apply it through surface preparation, coating selection per ISO 12944, and professional application techniques using airless spray and plural component systems. The course integrates project control practices for QC, inspection reporting, NCR management, and cost of rework. Delivered by IEEPC, this program produces engineers and supervisors who can specify coating systems, manage coating contractors, and ensure asset integrity from design to field application. Training is 60% practical in a spray booth and blasting bay, aligned with ISO 12944, NACE/AMPP SP0108, and SSPC standards. Suitable for Chemical/process engineers, corrosion engineers, project engineers, coating inspectors, painting supervisors, HSE officers in oil & gas, maritime, construction.

What does Hybrid learning include?
Hybrid combines published online learning materials and assessments with live instructor sessions. Your instructor publishes the session schedule in your classroom.
When does registration open?
Registration runs from the fifth day through the last day of each month. The next batch starts the following month; your dashboard displays the relevant start date.
What do I need to apply?
A verified account, your registration selfie, academic evidence and evidence of project management training. Review the full programme description for any additional requirements.
How are certificates issued?
Assessment and IPA requirements must be completed. Certificates are issued after IEEPC review and can be checked using the public certificate-verification page.
Can I register for the examination only?
Yes. Use the exam-only registration link. IEEPC must review the required evidence and clearance before you can access the examination.
